Central Railway, Mumbai’s Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), invites applications from eligible Indian sports enthusiasts, both male and female, for 62 Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ positions under the Open Advertisement Sports Quota for 2023-2024. Level 1 41 Water Pole, Swimming, Basketball, Body Building, Boxing, Cricket, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho Kho, Volleyball, Weightlifting. 10th / Matric Pass (OR) ITI (OR) National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Level 3/2 16 Water Pole, Swimming, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Body Building, Cycling, Hockey, Kho – Kho, Powerlifting, Volleyball, Wrestling. Matric with 12th class (10+2 Stage) Pass or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% Marks (OR) Passed Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (OR) Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT.
Level 5/4 5 Athletics, Badminton, Table Tennis. Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

Age Limit for Central Railway Sports Quota

  • 18 to 25 years as of 01/01/2022.
  • Candidates born between 01/01/1997 and 01/01/2004 (both days inclusive).

Selection Process

Only eligible candidates will undergo a Trial, and following the Trial, only those who achieve a score of 25 or higher out of 40 marks will proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process. Candidates declared “NOT FIT” by the Trial Committee will not be considered for further evaluation by the Recruitment Committee.
